Attendees participated in an informative tour of the renovated InterContinental Buckhead, joined an interesting panel discussion on brand strategy led by members of the IHG Luxury, Lifestyle and Premium Brands team, and enjoyed an informal networking reception.

Hyatt Executives shared insight on growth and development for their Independent Collections – Unbound by Hyatt, Destination by Hyatt and JDV. by Hyatt. The Anndore House, at which this event was held, is one of the unique JDV properties which are designed to celebrate the neighborhood in which they’re located. February 25 – March 1, 2023 – Sheraton Phoenix Downtown
At the Association of Lodging Professionals’ 2023 Conference & Marketplace, held at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, Sales Development Manager Jessica Beckner-Rosenfeld led the panel discussion on the topic of Google Search vs Google Travel. The discussion focused on how it impacts the way you market your property.

NEWH BrandED Vancouver Event
Aboard Holland America’s Koningsdam
On September 10th the attendees of this BrandED event were treated to a very informative tour of Holland America Line’s cruise ship Koningsdam, the first of the Premium Pinnacle Class vessels. The discussion of ship design processes for this brand was conducted by My Nguyen, Director of Interior Design for the Holland America Group. While the ship’s destinations and vacation packages are either north to Alaska and the Yukon, south to Mexico or west to Hawaii and South Pacific islands, the design inspiration resonates with a musical theme for the 2600+ passengers to enjoy. Areas such as B.B. King’s Blues Club, Rolling Stone Rock Room, Billboard Onboard, and the Lincoln Center Stage provide options for all musical tastes. The architectural designs were inspired by the subtle flow of music, the fluid curves of string instruments, and airy, steel sculptural elements. The imaginative and innovative spaces combine for an exceptional passenger experience. Event attendees included designers, NEWH Scholarship recipients, sponsors including FiberBuilt, and NEWH executives including Chris Tucker, President of NEWH International.

2021 Events
FiberBuilt participated in the FRLA Miami’s 6th Annual Golf Invitational, held at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. The event supported educational programs in local Miami high schools and colleges. Our foursome consisted of Hector Felix, FiberBuilt COO, Ron Wichowski, Boca Raton Marriott, Hector Felix Jr., Bridgestone Corp., and Adam Hawskin, Truist Bank. We are pleased to announce that FiberBuilt’s team won first place.
FRLA’s 2021 Fall Board Meeting and Hospitality Stars of the Industry Gala was held Nov. 4th at the Henderson Beach Resort & Spa in Destin, FL. FiberBuilt was recognized as a long time supporter of the Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation which will be the organization championed by the FRLA during the new Chairman’s tenure. Olivia Hoblit is the incoming Chairman of FRLA and the notice of appreciation was made by Olivia and Phil Hoblit. We congratulate Olivia on her new role and FiberBuilt is proud to support the work and mission of the Foundation.
FiberBuilt was a proud sponsor of the 5th Annual Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation Gala. Jordan Beckner again emceed this important event which was held at the Courtyard Amelia Island on Fernandina Beach. The foundation raises money to support and fund research, training, treatment and awareness for brain aneurysms and strokes. While Covid precautions were taken by guests and staff, a wonderful time was had at this special dinner. Through silent and live auctions and donations $70,000 was raised.
The Palm Beach chapter of FRLA hosted the 3rd Annual David A. Burke Golf Invitational on September 9 at the Boca Resort. FiberBuilt was pleased to participate again this year. Our foursome was captained by COO Hector Felix
FRLA Reverse Tradeshow
FiberBuilt was a proud Bronze Level Sponsor of FRLA’s 9th Annual Marketing + Operations Summit held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Aug. 18 – 19. Entrepreneurs and hospitality experts discussed trends, inclusivity and best practices in a wide array of sessions that were timely and topically essential. It was also a great networking opportunity for hoteliers and restaurateurs.
Southern Innkeeper's 113th Annual Conference
Jordan Beckner, Supplier Representative on the SIA Board of Directors, attended the 113th Annual Conference of the Southern Innkeeper’s Association, June 20 – 23, 2021. This year’s event was held at the beautiful Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, SC. The event was an opportunity for members to get together en masse for the first time since 2019. The strategic planning and insightful speakers made for a productive and inspiring get together.

FiberBuilt was a Bronze Level Sponsor of this year’s Marketing + Operations Summit. This 8th annual event brought together industry leaders to discuss best practices, industry trends, and how to successfully navigate these challenging times.

We are proud to have sponsored FRLA’s Northeast Chapter’s 12th Annual Rose Awards. The event was held on Feb 18th at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St Augustine FL. In Recognition of Service Excellence, 25 awards were presented to front-line hospitality employees within the chapter for their outstanding performance.

AH&LA Legislative Action Summit
Jordan Beckner and other member of the Florida contingent of the AH&LA Legislative Action Summit. The September 11th meeting was scheduled to promote, through personal contact with our senators and representatives, the concerns and requests of the hospitality industry.

Trinity Hoblit Love Foundation Gala
FiberBuilt was pleased to once again be a sponsor of the Trinity Hoblit Love Foundation Gala. This year our own Jordan Beckner was the emcee of this meaningful event which was held at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island.
