Options & Accessories
Make your umbrellas as unique as the rest of your outdoor space. FiberBuilt encourages you to create a look using
multiple fabrics, functional elements and decorative adornments to enhance your umbrella’s canopy and improve
their performance.
Designed around your property
Go beyond a standard solid-color canopy.
Multiple fabrics, alternating panels, contrasting vents, decorative edges and branded details can transform an umbrella into an integrated part of the property’s design.
FiberBuilt also offers functional options that can improve performance in challenging environments and mounting solutions for beaches, decks, patios and permanent installations.
Canopy patterns
Build the color story from the top down.
Combine two or more fabrics through banding, contrasting vents or alternating canopy panels to coordinate the umbrella with furniture, architecture and property branding.
Contrasting Banding
Add a narrow or wide fabric band around the canopy edge, upper vent or multiple canopy levels.
Alternating Panels
Alternate canopy panel colors vertically to create stripes or reinforce a recognizable property color palette.
Contrasting Vents
Highlight the upper or middle vent with a second fabric color while maintaining a coordinated lower canopy.
Custom Combinations
Combine fabric positioning, banding and valance treatments to create a canopy designed specifically for the project.
Canopy design collection
Shape, movement and decorative detail.
Decorative canopy treatments allow the umbrella to become a stronger visual element within hospitality, club, restaurant and residential environments.
Soft tailored edge
Wave Valance
A smooth, flowing lower edge creates a relaxed silhouette that can be finished with matching or contrasting binding.
Decorative statement
Ruffle Valance
Layered fabric creates movement, dimension and an elevated resort-inspired appearance.
Layered traditional detail
Double Vent with Swags
Multiple scalloped layers combine decorative depth with the visual structure of a double-vent canopy.
Geometric edge
Double-Layer Dentil Molding
Square architectural cutouts and contrasting fabric create a structured, graphic canopy edge.
Classic resort detail
Fringed Valance
Decorative fringe adds texture, movement and a distinctive vintage or luxury character.
Project-specific design
Custom Valance Treatments
Combine custom shapes, contrasting fabrics, tassels, multiple layers and branded details.
Braided binding
A small detail with a polished effect.
Braided fabric is sewn around the bottom edge of valances to create a clean, tailored finish. Unless another color is specified, the binding is coordinated with the canopy.
Custom logos and branding
Put your property name in the shade.
Logos may be silk-screened or embroidered on umbrella panels or valances. Branding can appear once, on opposite sides, on alternating panels or around the entire umbrella.
Double-vent canopies
Additional airflow for exposed locations.
Double-vent canopies are recommended for locations prone to high or gusty winds, including oceanside, lakeside, mountain, rooftop and upper-floor environments.
The additional vent provides another path for wind energy to move through the canopy.
Depending on the umbrella, the middle vent may use solution-dyed acrylic or an open-weave mesh.
Canopy patterns, contrasting fabrics and decorative treatments may also be incorporated into vented designs.
Designed for challenging wind exposure.
Extra-large vent canopies are available on select FiberBuilt models, including Lucaya, Riva, Oceana, Bridgewater, Augusta, Diamante and Bambusa.
Outdoor performance fabrics
Color designed to endure outdoor conditions.
Umbrella fabrics must withstand intense sunlight, rain, salt air, stains, mold and mildew while maintaining their color and shape.
FiberBuilt offers solution-dyed acrylic fabrics from leading outdoor textile manufacturers for commercial and residential applications.
Mounting accessories
Secure the umbrella for the application.
Choose mounting equipment based on the umbrella model, canopy size, surface, location, wind exposure and whether the umbrella needs to be removable.
