We all love a well-designed Cabana.  The roominess – built to 80” w x 67” d x 67” h, there’s enough space for all your beach gear.  The shade – that accommodates two chaise lounges.  The fabrics – hundreds of choices of marine grade solution dyed acrylics.  The options – one- or two-color canopies, wind management panel, silk screen or embroidered property logo.

But there are some features of a FiberBuilt Cabana that you might not notice that add stability and durability.  For example, the fabric-covered, curved frame is made of (2) ¾” and (3) ½” diameter solid, rust resistant, aluminum bar stock for structural integrity.  There’s a vertical ¾” diameter PVC rib in the center of the cabana that provides additional support to the clamshell shape.

There is also one feature that’s hidden from view but aides in the cabana’s steadfast position.  When the cabanas are first installed, an L-shaped foot is screwed to the mounting bracket on either side of the frame.   These are the brackets into which the five aluminum ribs are already connected.

When the cabana is set up in its proper location, the feet are then buried one foot deep
in the sand to keep it in place.  In addition to the optional mesh panel, the feet are important components that anchor these 62 lb shade products firmly in place, especially
in windy locations.
